Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center To help better serve the needs of veterans in North Central West Virginia, I supported the construction of a four-story, 139,000 square-foot addition to the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center. With the completion of that new structure in 1989, an expanded ambulatory care facility was created which provides services to over 14,000 veterans each year (an average of 110,000 outpatient visits). The addition also houses a modern pharmacy and state-of-the art laboratory/imaging equipment. |
