Toni B. Goodykoontz

Toni B. Goodykoontz, JD, MD, is an assistant professor of behavioral medicine and psychiatry in the WVU School of Medicine and medical director of the Chestnut Ridge Day Hospital.  She received her bachelor's degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College, her law degree from the University of Virginia, and her MD from the West Virginia University School of Medicine.  She completed her residency at the Chestnut Ridge Psychiatric Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.  She is a staff psychiatrist for Youth Health Services in Elkins, W.Va., the Barbour County Health Department in Philippi, W.Va., and the children and Youth Behavioral Health Center in Buckhannon, W.Va.  She is a member of several professional associations and on the executive boards of the United Way of Harrison County and the Sacred Heart Children's Charities.  She has received numerous honors, including outstanding medical student in her graduating class and the Caring Professional Award.
