Delegate Survey, Question Two
Student-delegates were asked, "What do you feel is needed in schools and communities to reduce teen violence?"  The results are as follows:

  1. More support of teens and their personal and psychological needs
  2. More after school, community based programs
  3. Character education (i.e., morals, values)
  4. Stiffer/more consistent legal penalties for minors convicted of violent crimes
  5. More cooperation between local law enforcement, schools, and communities
  6. Greater discipline in schools
  7. Church and religiously-affiliated support of teens
  8. Less violence in the media
