Every day, I provide a wide range of assistance to veterans and their families.
This web page contains information for veterans and their families on the
variety of services that I can provide. Eligibility for federal programs
depends on individual circumstances. For additional assistance, the
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) operates a toll-free telephone
number at 1-800-827-1000. Calling that number can put a veteran in
contact with the nearest VA Regional Office.
There are several ways to contact me if you need further assistance.
You can call my Washington office at (202) 224-3954. You can also
write me a letter briefly outlining the situation. Be sure to include
your social security number and other pertinent case numbers along with
your full name, address, and daytime telephone number. It is also helpful
if you can provide me with copies of any information relevant to the case.
Please note that, under the provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974, a federal
agency cannot release information concerning an individual unless that
person has given his or her express, signed, written permission.
